 Quality & After-Care

All of my horse sculptures are digitally sculpted and printed on demand only once paid in full, so there will be a little wait before you receive your order as this is the nature of pre-orders, but I hope to keep this to an absolute minimum for all our sakes.

They are intended as collectors items, not as toys (certainly not for children) and as some are small pieces/contain small pieces, which as a consequence are fragile/sharp, please handle with care as no refunds can be given. 

You have 48hrs upon arrival to inspect your piece and contact me with any issues for a replacement/to arrange a repair in your country. After that time period has lapsed I cannot guarantee a replacement/repair.

Should a replacement be needed I will require the original and any broken parts to be sent back to me at buyers cost, and I will replace with a new model, which I send back to the buyer at my cost. 

Given they are made from 3d printed resin, which is cured using UV light, leaving them un-primed and in sunlight will make them increasingly brittle, so please keep out of light until a very light coat of standard primer, paint job, or UV protective spray can be applied - for this reason I cannot guarantee the resin past the initial 48hrs of receipt as I cannot control how they are stored once out of my care.  All first quality copies come with a certificate of authenticity - please pass this along if you sell your copy as it contains care info on the reverse.

He arrives cleaned but not prepped, and may require a small amount of sanding/filling where supports have been removed. There may be very faint layer lines or circular patterns, but these usually buff out or are totally covered once a light coat of primer is applied. 

Each piece is checked and double checked for quality control, but I am only human and its only me, so please contact me with any issues and I will do my best to work with you.

Please note curios/ventis are printed hollow - and this process means drainage holes are needed for printing/rinsing.  I then fill these holes with apoxie sculpt and sand it down - all hollow models require an air hole (like your breyers do) so please don't fill this.  It is usually a small hole on the underside of the models belly.

Please remember to wash and dry your model before applying primer, exactly as you would treat a standard resin.

Payments

If you wish to pay in full you should be able to check out using the 'Shop' feature, which has Paypal, Square, Apple Pay & Google Pay enabled so you can pay through these, your bank or a credit card directly through the website.

If you wish to pay via time payments (and it is stated as an option) there should be an option to select in check out after you've entered your details, which will give instructions to email me to arrange.

We agree a paid by date and I will send a paypal invoice for the total amount, with partial payments enabled, please note a 10% deposit is required on receipt of invoice due to previous non paying buyers - so it is up to you to pay down as you see fit in the time we agree.  So if you want to pay weekly, early or nothing except the deposit until the day of agreed PIF date, that is up to you to manage your finances as suits you.

                                          All payments and deposits are non-refundable. 

Once the invoice is due for payment (and still not paid for) I will send 2 reminders over a week long period, but no communication from the buyer at this point is grounds for cancelling the transaction and listing the art piece back for sale. I understand emergencies happen, so please email me if there will be any issues as I am happy to work with you.

Please note if the 10% deposit is not paid within 1 week of sending the invoice and no communication is received I will also cancel the order and relist the item.

Both of the above scenarios without communication will result in being black-listed for all future releases as this has happened to me too often already.

Making your initial deposit on your piece is agreement to the above terms, unless otherwise discussed with myself in emails, in which case it will be indicated above in the invoice.

Please note due to multiple non paying or late paying customers time pays are now subject to a surcharge to cover my time for the manual raising of invoices and the inconvenience of keeping track of everything, as well as the chasing emails I have to send.  Time pays have to be treated differently to my usual automated website system from start to finish and as such take a lot of effort my end.

However, if you are a returning customer who has always sent payments on time, you will not be expected to pay the surcharge.

I will now send out reminders (where I remember!) the week before your payment is due to avoid any surprises at the last minute.

My preference is obviously PIF to keep things simple but I want to try and keep my art accessible to those who want to support it. 

 Selling an item you have purchased from me prior to you actually receiving the piece is strictly prohibited. Any violations of this can result in being refunded for the item and / or no longer able to purchase items from me in the future.  

  The only circumstance this is ok is:  As an artist selling a custom order package with the piece, but note you still bear all liability as my customer for your order and any of my decisions that affect that order.

Unpainted copies of my work are intended to be finished by the customer. This includes all forms of applied finishes as well as alteration/customization.

I, Emma Sumner, provide to the customer a limited, non-exclusive license of the right to photograph or videotape my work for the sole purpose of promotion, sales or photo showing of said work.

I reserve all rights for reproduction, including derivative works. No reproduction, in whole or in part, of any of my sculptures is allowed.
